The Arolla pine (Pinus Cembra) only grows at high altitudes. We travelled to South Tyrol, in the Italian Alps, to find this fresh, woody essential oil, which has been distilled there in the mountains by the fourth generation of the Niederkofler family. Some people design entire bedrooms out of Arolla pine wood because they believe its scent promotes restful sleep, and Arolla pine oil is very popular for the same reasons.
