Seven days on a mountain expedition to harvest wild immortelle. It may seem crazy to some, but in Corsica, they consider it worthwhile. These beautiful yellow flowers, which envelop large parts of the island in their scent, have a different concentration of aromatic molecules at an altitude of 1500 meters. This provides this oil with a slightly heavier, somewhat honey-like fragrance, while retaining the spicy character that immortelle naturally possesses.
